Did you know a piece of trash discarded in a Bettendorf neighborhood can end up in the Gulf of Mexico? Do you know how water quality is monitored and evaluated? Is water pollution an urban or rural challenge? How does water quality affect wildlife and their habitat?

“Moved by Waters”--a new work by the Quad Cities' own Fourth Wall Films--is an uplifting and inspirational documentary that depicts collaborative projects focused on improving water quality in the Upper Mississippi watershed.  In this film, we meet organizations and diverse groups of students, teachers, artists, farmers, and volunteers of all ages, all showing us a way forward that benefits people and the environment.

View "Moved by Waters," as well as Fourth Wall Films' short documentary “Over and Under: Wildlife Crossings,” and discuss the films with Emmy award-winning filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle.

Fourth Wall Films is a five-time regional Emmy award-winning independent media production company formerly located in Los Angeles, California, and now based in Moline, Illinois.

Community Connections events are funded by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library
